We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Consultant to join our transport desk based in Burton-on-Trent.
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm, early finishes on a Friday!
Pay: Negotiable depending on industry experience
Location: Burton on Trent (DE14 1PT)
Responsibilities:
- Building, managing and maintaining a sales pipeline within the transport and logistics infustry, using CRM tools
- Negotiating pricing with potential clients
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through cold calling and field sales
- Reporting KPI’s and tracking conversion rates
** Due to the nature of this role, it is essential you have access to your own transport **
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a sales role
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills
- Track record of winning new business – preferably within the recruitment or transport industry
