Kenect recruitment are looking for an experienced Class 2 Bin Wagon Driver for our client based in Durham area
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a bin wagon, ensuring timely collections from various business premises across the north east area.
Monday – Friday 04.00 starts – guaranteed 40- 50hrs per week
overtime after 40hrs @ £20.34

Duties
– To operate Class 2 bin wagon in compliance with all relevant road safety regulations.
– Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks to ensure the lorry is in safe working condition.
– Load and unload bins safely and efficiently, ensuring that all items are secured during transit.
– Navigate routes effectively to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws.
– Maintain accurate records of the collections as required.
– Communicate with the logistics team regarding any issues or delays encountered during routes.
– Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Skills
– Proven experience in commercial refuse driving, specifically with Class 2 rear steer vehicles.
– Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for driving heavy vehicles.
– Excellent navigation skills with a good knowledge of local roads and routes.
– Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers
