Job Title: Outdoor Cleaner – Shopping Centre
Hours: [Full-time, up to 40 hours per week including weekends]
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Cleaner to join our team at a busy shopping centre. This role focuses primarily on maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and presentation of outdoor communal areas to ensure a welcoming environment for customers, retailers, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and maintaining outdoor common areas, including walkways, entrances, car parks, and seating areas
- Emptying bins and managing waste and recycling
- Sweeping, pressure washing, and removing litter and debris
- Spot cleaning spills and responding to cleanliness issues as they arise
- Reporting maintenance or safety hazards to management
- Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly
About You:
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
- Able to work independently and take pride in your work
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or public holidays if required
