Kenect Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Stores Person for our automotive client based in Durham area. The successful candidate will require a full manual driving license as may be required to drive company van for urgent deliveries.
This is a temp to perm role working Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm and alternative Saturday mornings 8am – 12 noon
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming goods
- Match delivery notes to system entries and report any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate inventory data: perform cycle counts and reconciliations
- Issue parts, pick and assemble kits or dispatch items based on bill of materials
- Organise and maintain stores area
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong attention to detail with ability to enter data accurately
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to follow standard procedures in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift license or experience preferred (counterbalance)
- Confident IT literacy
- Previous experience working in the automotive industry is preferred
