This week we celebrate our 10th anniversary!
Back on Thursday 17th May 2012, we incorporated a small independent agency called Kenect Recruitment Ltd to help support the local community and neighbouring businesses. We are proud to announce that 10 years later we are still doing the same thing, albeit on a slightly bigger scale…
With over 40 locations and recruitment hubs, we now support some of the biggest names in business throughout the UK. We couldn’t have done this without the support and hard work of our amazing staff, some of which are still working with us since the day we started and for that, we would like to convey our heartfelt thanks.
We would also like to thank our customers (temporary workers and clients) for their loyalty and support during our ten years in business. To show our appreciation, we would like you to enjoy some celebratory cake and bubbly with us. Our branch staff will be celebrating in their offices today and for the rest of the week and would like to encourage you to come down and join in.
Working in this industry can be very tough at times for everyone. This becomes even more evident when you realise that less than 1% of recruitment agencies actually make it to the 10-year milestone. It’s been an emotional journey and adapting to an ever-changing environment can be difficult at times, but it just shows that hard work really does pay off.
We now look forward to the next 10 years and would like to take this opportunity to officially announce our transition to corporate banking with our new financial partner Barclays Bank PLC. This move will allow us to efficiently fund our progression plans with new locations, staff, and franchisees. We aim to have over 80 locations in 2 -4 years’ time across the UK to support our growth and worker/client expectations.
It’s an exciting time to be at Kenect Recruitment and we can’t wait to start this new chapter. We are always looking for new franchisees and staff to work within our owned locations, so if you are looking for a change maybe we could be the right fit for you?
Finally, we would like to thank all those that have supported the business in the past who are no longer working with us today. Businesses are shaped by their history and come into their own when enduring both good and bad experiences. No business has an easy ride, it’s how you deal with it at the time that shapes its future.
