We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 (Category C) to join our clients growing team in Bradford. This role involves delivering goods to multiple locations each day, ensuring timely, safe, and professional service to our customers.
Site induction & Driver Assessments —available from 20th August—- limited spaces available
- MON – FRI £17.00 PER HOUR
- SATURDAY £19.00
- SUNDAY £19.50
- EARLY STARTS 03.00
- 9.5hr – 12hr SHIFTS
- 7 DAY A WEEK OPERATION – must be flexible with shift pattern
- Newly Qualified drivers welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out deliveries to regional stores and locals
- Load and unload goods as required
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
- Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic logs accurately
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Provide excellent customer service at every delivery point
- Comply with all driving laws, EU driver hours, and company policies
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (C) – New passes welcome
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous delivery experience preferred but not essential
- Good knowledge of local and regional road networks
- Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting, cage work
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
