We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 (Category C) to join our clients growing team. This role involves delivering goods to multiple locations each day, ensuring timely, safe, and professional service to our customers.
Site induction & Driver Assessments —available from 20th August—- limited spaces available
- MON – FRI £17.00 PER HOUR
- SATURDAY £19.00
- SUNDAY £19.50
- EARLY STARTS 03.00
- 9.5hr – 12hr SHIFTS
- 7 DAY A WEEK OPERATION – must be flexible with shift pattern
- Newly Qualified drivers welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out deliveries to regional stores and locals
- Load and unload goods as required
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
- Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic logs accurately
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Provide excellent customer service at every delivery point
- Comply with all driving laws, EU driver hours, and company policies
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (C) – New passes welcome
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous delivery experience preferred but not essential
- Good knowledge of local and regional road networks
- Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting, cage work
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
