Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
About the Role
Our recruitment agency is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hardworking Mandarin-Speaking Warehouse Operative to join their busy warehouse team.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced warehouse environment, with responsibilities including loading and unloading containers, packing orders, wrapping pallets and using scanners to ensure stock is processed accurately and efficiently.
The successful candidate will be comfortable with manual handling, able to work as part of a team and have good attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading containers
- Wrapping and securing pallets ready for dispatch
- Picking and packing goods
- Using handheld scanners to process stock and orders
- Moving stock around the warehouse
- Checking goods for accuracy and damage
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
- Following all company health and safety procedures
- Supporting the wider warehouse team when required
About You
- Mandarin-speaking is essential
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical warehouse work
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions and work safely
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Good team player with a positive attitude
- Available to work Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
