Warehouse Operative / Van Driver
£12.71 per hour | Full-Time | Multiple Sites
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Van Driver on behalf of our client. This is a varied role for someone who is comfortable working in a warehouse environment as well as driving between the company’s three sites in Wednesbury, Stratford and Tyseley.
The Role
The role will involve a combination of warehouse duties and driving, including:
- Loading and unloading vehicles and containers
- Moving and sorting stock
- Picking and packing
- Wrapping pallets
- Using a pump truck
- Delivering and transferring stock between the three sites
- Loading and unloading the van
- General warehouse duties
- Keeping stock and work areas organised
About You
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred
- Previous van driving experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience loading and unloading containers is highly desirable
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to get involved with both warehouse and driving duties
